Obituary of Staci Nicole James

Walton-Staci Nicole James, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2021. She was 31 years old. Born at Fox Hospital, Oneonta, on August 1, 1990. Daughter of the late Douglas C. James and Lorna J. Luscomb. Staci was her own person, in the way she dressed, her hair; she was a trend setter in her own way. She loved tattoos, piercings, bandanas, sunglasses and whatever could set her apart; she may have been 31 but looked like she was 12. Staci loved hiking, hunting, camping, bonfires and wild flowers. She especially loved animals, including her dogs, Bella, Roxi and Sadie. Staci always thought she wasn’t good enough but tried to help a lot of people’ she did and didn’t stop trying. She loved riding her bikes, especially her electric scooter; she could be seen anywhere on that terrorizing motorist and pedestrians. Staci loved to be outside, but not after dark. She enjoyed life. Staci is survived by her mother, Lorna Luscomb (Rick Kingsbury); brother, Kyle (Angela) James and their children, Katie and Lucas; grandparents, Phillip (Lorraine) James; step-sister, Christina Gales-Antzak; step-brother, Mike Gales; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her father, Doug James; grandparents, Roger and Joan Luscomb; uncle, Mike Luscomb and cousin, Dustin James. A prayer vigil was held on November 12, 2021 at the Veteran’s Plaza, a funeral service was held in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania on November 13, 2021 and Staci was laid to rest in the James’ private cemetery. A celebration of life for Staci will be held at a later date in Walton.
