Obituary of Kevin M. McGrath

Please share a memory of Kevin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kevin M. McGrath, 57, of Sidney Center, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at UHS Wilson Medical Center following a long battle with COVID. Born November 12, 1963 in Massapequa, NY, he was a son of the late David and Katherine Kennedy McGrath. Kevin was currently employed at Kraft in Walton where he has worked the past 36 years. In his teenage years, Kevin was an avid motocross rider. He was the founding member of the Mountain Eagle Riders Motorcycle Club in 2016, enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife Donna, hanging out with his close friends and family and was always the life of the party, listening to music (the louder the better), he enjoyed cooking and everyone always looked forward to his famous potato salad at any event he attended and loved spending time at the family home on the beach in Southampton, NY. Most of all, Kevin just loved to be around his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 years Donna McGrath; children Kerry Meeter (Jeff), Shawn McGrath, Kayla Markis (Chris), Erin McGrath, Tiffany Stanton and Donald Stanton; Brother Chris McGrath (Doreen); Sister Diane Grafenstein (Edward) and 18 grandchildren. Kevin is also survived by two nieces and five nephews. Besides his parents, Kevin is predeceased by his brothers Rod and David McGrath. A celebration of life for Kevin will be held in the spring of 2022 at a day and time to be announced by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
