Ann and I worked together at the William B. Ogden Library for 22 years. She loved her job at the Library and she loved helping people. She took great pride in her heritage. She would tell me stories about growing up in Walton and she'd tell those stories with pride in Walton, this town that she loved so much. Family meant so much to Ann. She was one of the first people I met when I moved to Walton in 1994. During the years we worked together, we got to be good friends. I thought of her often after she retired.
