Mark was a true gentleman and law enforcement officer! He was a friend of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Special Agents of the Northeast Region. He graciously hosted at times our firearms qualifications In the past. The mounted kestrel donated as an educational display at his former office is testament to that. Condolences to his family, he will be greatly missed!

Many memories of Mark and my Dad growing up as a boy whether it was on our way to the Annex for breakfast with the men in blue or witnessing these men in there daily routine who's job it was to keep us safe. A man of character and integrity, and certainly another of the great one's passed. My condolences to you Rose and family as you are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP and God speed Sir.

My condolences go out to the entire family. It was always a pleasure to talk to Mark when ever we ran into each other, and also when we were all down to the Legion doing things. We had a lot of laughs and he was very knowledgeable. He will definitely be missed by many. R.I.P Mark!!!

I am so sorry to hear this sad news and extend my sincere sympathies to the Benedetto Family. During my assignment in Margaretville, I would often interact with Mark on law enforcement matters and always found him to be willing to assist in any way possible. He always had a smile and possessed a ‘can-do’ attitude. What a treasure! We’ll be praying for God’s peace during these difficult days
