Upon retirement, he was owner/operator of J & L Trucking and operated his own log truck. Jerry loved being outside and all phases of excavating. He took great pride in his work and it especially shows in the landscaping at his homes in Hamden and South Carolina, having done all the work himself. On March 22, 1980, he married the love of his life, Linda Lincourt. He will be greatly missed by her and his family and friends.
