Patricia K. Stanton, 79, of Walton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the Post-Acute Medical Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre.
Born on April 12, 1941 in Shavertown, NY, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Olive Bryden Reynolds.
Pat was the glue that held the family together. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to cook and that always brought the family together sharing a delicious home cooked meal. Christmas was especially important to Pat because it was a special day to celebrate and be around her beloved family. Memorial Day, Pat could be found at Walton or Franklin Cemeteries lovingly placing her beautiful potted plants at the graves of her family and friends she missed so much. Pat was an avid bowler, loved hummingbirds, enjoyed traveling with her husband Junie to visit their many close family and friends and she loved spotting sharp looking cars around town. Her favorite car was a Ford Bronco or anything else that caught her eye. In Pat’s eyes Junie could do no wrong. No matter what issues they had over the years they always worked things out. Pat was a former member of the Plymouth Church in Walton. She will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know this wonderful woman.
Survivors include her beloved husband and best friend Clayton “Junie” Stanton, Jr. of Walton; devoted children Mark Eckert of Walton, Tina Stanton of Walton, Amy Stanton of Walton and Crystal Stanton (Valarie Moore) of Walton; brother Alan “Tink” Reynolds (Cathy) of Walton; sisters Gloria “Betty” Thomson and Barbara Wormuth (Ron); grandchildren Garrett Eckert (Beth), Kyle Eckert (Lynn), Brett Eckert (Nichole), Chasity Eckert, Tanner Eckert, Chad Conway (Lisa), Christopher Conway (Lisa), Cody Conway (Jamie), Chelsee and Caleb; great grandchildren CeCe, GW, Kyla, Brayden, Aubrey, Harper, Anthony, Austin, Bryden, Dustin, Devin, Caleb, Belle, Tristan and Kaident and her very special canine companion for many loving years, Milo. Pat is also survived by 10 grand dogs and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Pat is predeceased by her brother Marty Reynolds.
