
Obituary of Ann Moody
Ann S. Moody, 84, of Hamden passed away early Wednesday morning, June 20, 2018 at the Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Delhi, following a long illness.
Ann was born on December 17, 1933 in Delhi, the daughter of the late William A. and Lura (Cole) Stewart. On June 7, 1953 she married Paul Moody at the First Presbyterian Church in Delhi.
Ann was a farm wife who helped her husband, Paul run the family dairy farm in Hamden. Ann also worked at the Stamford Post Office. She was a member of the Jersey Cattle Club, Plymouth Church, and Hamden Senior Citizens. She loved singing and playing the piano and all musical things.
Ann is survived by her loving family, her husband, Paul; her children, William S. (Patsy) Moody of Hamden; Robert P. (Lisa) of Walton; David L. Moody of Hamden; Phillip M. (Annmarie) of Oneonta, NY; Amy (Lynn) Buchanan of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Meghan, Marianne, Andy, Trevor, Kylee, Matthew, Alexandra, William, Liam, great grandchildren, Marc, Jon, P.J., Madelyn, Hadlee, Carter. She was predeceased by her parents, grandson, Jeff Moody, and sister in law, Eleanor Tweedie.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 12 noon to 2 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Bob Wilkie, officiating.
