Alexis Cannizzo was born and raised in upstate New York. A graduate of Johnstown High School, Alexis continued her education at Hudson Valley Community College where she studied Mortuary Science.

Outgoing, empathic, enthusiastic and driven are words that describe Alexis and are true assets as she begins her career as a Funeral Director. She has been around the funeral business her entire life. Her father owns two funeral homes. Watching him care for families during a time when there is a great need for compassion, inspired Alexis to choose this career path. Not only is she following in her father’s footsteps, her brother, Nicholas, is also in the funeral business. Alexis has always looked up to her father and is proud that she and her brother are continuing in this family business. Her goal is to help every family during one of the most difficult times of their lives. Alexis feels gratified if she is able to take a little weight off the shoulders of family members. She is passionate about this profession and feels honored to serve all families.

Alexis is a free spirit who loves adventures. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and traveling. She is happiest, however, spending time with her family and friends as well as hanging out with her five cats.

Alexis is anxious to begin her career in such a rewarding and fulfilling profession. She is extremely grateful that her residency is with Frank and Stacy. She knows they will make her feel welcomed like a home away from home.
